"Traditionally there would be a ceremony for the returning salmon, now the First Salmon symbolizes a time of sharing."
This limited edition print titled “First Salmon” by Stan Bevan was published in 2021. It is hand produced in the wood block printing process. The Artist’s design was self-engraved and self-printed for each unique print of the edition. The edition consists of 50 prints, signed and numbered with 5 artists proofs. Prints are on a mulberry paper with an oil based ink. The paper is 10.5” x 10.5” and the size of the image is 8” x 8”. This woodcut design is copyrighted by Stan Bevan. This is the only limited edition printing of this design.
